The Sing Space pride itself on providing spaces for those who love Musical Theatre to come together and sing in choirs to not only belt out their favourite showtunes, but learn from the top vocal coaches in the country! We perform regularly in the West End and nationally with legends like Gareth Malone, OBE.

We work with the top vocal coaches and voice specialists to share the highest quality knowledge and expertise in the voice and get you feeling confident in your sound!

Everyone is welcome from the very nervous to the experienced! There will be four rooms running with consecutive classes so you can choose your classes plus large group sessions so everyone gets to work with our main headliners

Yes, the weekend is fully accessible. We will also be in contact nearer the time to ask if you have any additional needs. There is also accessible parking.

All classes will be connected to the voice and include large group practical workshops, ensemble and harmony classes on West End Musicals, singing technique classes, well being classes and genres from 'acting through song,' to 'hitting high notes' and 'performance anxiety and confidence'

Each day will include a careful curated and balanced selection of West End, technique, harmony and wellbeing classes. The classes are listed above but you will received a detailed timed schedule once you have booked. 

Yes, you will be invited to a private facebook group to say hi to each other before the BIG Weekender. This will also be there for you if you want to offer accommodation, ask for accommodation, share travel or organise any social activities on the Friday evening like a group theatre trip.

 You will find a link to this private group in your booking confirmation.

We will be running around 18-20 classes throughout the weekend ranging from 30-90 minutes plus Q&As and the chance to 'ask a vocal coach' at set times in your breaks if you have a burning singing question

No, you can pick and choose or take time to have a break between workshops

No, everyone over 18 is welcome! Bring your friends and family!

There is car parking and accessible car parking available on campus - it is limited and operates at a first come first serve basis but as your event is over a weekend, there should be more available on-site parking. There will also be street parking available on Dixon road, the street the SU is on. Here is the link that security asks for individuals to fill out: Parking and Visitor Form 2024

Bookings cannot be refunded after purchase, but can be resold at the original price.

This is for all levels. You won't ever have to sing solo or do anything you don't wish to do. We are a very friendly community and will look after you. Please email nearer the time if you are nervous and we will allocate a team member to come and say hi when you arrive.

Yes, we will be allocating a limited number of part bursaries which can be applied for at this link. You will be contacted by a few months before the event if you have received a bursary.

The majority of these classes will be group based and practical - although there may be some opportunities to volunteer for feedback from class leaders/headliners in front of the group. We will share more about this nearer the time.

If music is needed then we will provide print outs or use the screens in the workshop rooms to save on trees!!

Food is not included but there are lots of cafes/supermarkets nearby plus a cafe on site that has vegan options

TERMS & CONDITIONS

In these Terms & Conditions, the “Organiser”, “Us”, “Our”, or “We” means The Sing Space (a trading name of Arts Collective Ltd) and “Event” shall mean the event, workshop or choir on this website.
Bookings for this Event are issued on behalf of the Organiser and are subject to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Nobody will be allowed admission to the Event without a valid booking or membership. 
  2. For the safety of people at the Event, the venue management and the Organiser reserve the right to refuse. 
  3. All bookings should be checked on purchase, as mistakes cannot always be rectified. 
  4. Bookings cannot be refunded after purchase, but can be resold at the original price. 
  5. In the event that you are unable to attend due to any Covid-19 Government regulation or restriction introduced after the purchase date e.g. vaccine passports, your ticket will be transferred to a future Event, and cannot be refunded after the purchase. 
  6. If the Event is rescheduled or moved, the Organiser will give you the options of either retaining or exchanging your tickets for the new date/location. If the Event is cancelled, you may be offered the option to transfer your ticket to a future event or a refund on your tickets, but this is under the discretion of the Organiser. 
  7. If the Event is rescheduled, changed, moved or cancelled the Organiser cannot be held responsible for any resulting costs you may incur for travel, accommodation and other related goods, services or compensation. 
  8. The Organiser reserves the right to alter or vary the content or timing of any part of the Event in circumstances beyond its reasonable control without any obligation to make any refunds or exchange tickets. 
  9. The Organiser does not accept reponsibility for unavoidable technical difficulties that may affect the ability to stream live classes. All classes will be recorded and made available after the Event.
  10. Neither the Organiser nor the venue operator will be responsible for any loss, damage, death or injury howsoever caused unless (i) the relevant party has breached its legal obligations; and (ii) such loss or damage is a direct and reasonably foreseeable result of the breach. For the avoidance of doubt, the Organiser will not be responsible for the actions of any third party, including, but not limited to, the exhibitors. 
  11. The Event will operate in accordance with the latest UK Government and Public Health England guidelines regarding Covid-19 and will operate under the Event Industry’s All Secure Stand, a comprehensive set of guidelines to keep you safe. As a result of these measures we may be required to manage the flow of visitors to specific areas of the Event. 
  12. This Event is adults only and therefore no under 18s are permitted. This may be checked on arrival. 
  13. The Organiser does not accept any responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property brought to the Event. 
  14. Visitors may be filmed, photographed or sound recorded for broadcast, publication or security purposes whilst at the Event by the Organiser and our trusted sponsors and partners. 
  15. Visitors are not permitted to bring animals to the Event with the exception of guide, assistance and hearing dogs. 
  16. Please check Event details, timings and car park charges prior to traveling as these may be subject to change. 
  17. Please check your route prior to traveling to ensure you arrive on time. The Organiser is not responsible for any delays due to travel disruptions.
