Come and join our exciting taster session to experience our wonderful Torquay choir before officially joining!
Get ready to perfect your singing skills with Kelly Young, who has West End, UK Tour and international credits under her belt!
Kelly is a trained vocal coach with 10 years experience teaching and will help you get the best out of your voice - and will encourage you to simply HAVE FUN!
Please note that this is an adult choir and the taster session is for 18+ years old and above.
Suitable for beginners through to advanced singers!

Interested in joining the Sing Space Musical Theatre choir?
With spaces very limited, you can join us in January for a term of show tunes, technique and harmonies with like-minded people The Sing Space choir welcomes all levels.
We have toured with Gareth Malone in 2022 and 2023, we, were asked to support Kerry Ellis on her album tour and headlined Cadogan Hall in London this summer at SingFest with Leading West End lady, Cassidy Janson, for the charity A Choir With No Name.
Locally, we've performed at All Saints Church for festive performances, Exeter RESPECT Festival, The Exeter Phoenix, for Princesshay at at the Exeter RAMM where we raised £900+ for FORCE Cancer Charity and the RAMM trust. We've just performed at the 2024 English Riviera Airshow, and we are also collaborating with Torquay Pride for exciting performances!
We will rehearse Thursday evenings, 7:30pm - 9:30pm.

Hello! I’m Kelly, and I’m so excited to introduce my Torquay Musical Theatre Choir to you!
I’m a professional vocalist, performer & singing teacher with an incredibly diverse background.
I have a natural ability to connect with even the shyest of singers, and build their confidence over time. I love to create a safe, friendly and fun environment in which singers can thrive.
I love spreading the joy and health benefits that singing brings - I truly believe singing is for all.
I’m experienced in singing on UK Tours, Cruises, West End and international orchestras, and I’ve been lucky enough to sing with Michael Bublé and Gareth Malone! I keep busy gigging locally and across the UK with various bands, solo and with my Jazz Quartet.
In addition to performing, I’m a busy singing teacher and run Exeter Singing Lessons, where I coach teens through to adults.
I am Associate Lecture (Voice) at Oxford Brookes University, and I worked for the NHS for two years in forensic mental health as a specialist music instructor.

Ts & Cs:
If attendee joins the choir full term, the Drop in Fees will be deducted from the Full term fee. However, the cooling off period is reflective from your drop in session date.
There are no refunds, but bookings can be transferred to another person.
Under 18s must be booked with an accompanying adult.
If alcohol is offered, proof of ID may be asked for.
Any Government mandated lockdown or restriction of any kind may warrant us to move to online sessions. No refund will be given as sessions will still happen via live streaming.
In cases where your Choir Leader may be ill - our priority is always to still have the session go ahead and your Choir Leader will provide cover for this session. If they are unable to find suitable cover for the session, time will be given to make up for the session missed.
Monies paid are collected by Arts Collective Ltd acting as agent for Sing Space Choir South and Kelly Young. VAT Included where applicable.
