CHOIR LEADER: REBECCA HARDCASTLE
Hi, I’m Rebecca! I lead the Milton Keynes Sing Space Musical Theatre Choir.
I absolutely adore helping people develop their singing voices and find the confidence to perform. After training in Musical Theatre at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, I worked professionally, performing in pantomimes, holiday resorts and ships. It was a lot of fun, and alongside performing I built up my coaching skills, which brings me to now.
I am a trained Vocal Health First Aider and put vocal health at the forefront of my teaching. I'm also the 6th Form course leader and singing teacher at local college, Dancebox Studios and Theatreworks, where I get the privilege of training the next generation of professional performers.
I’m incredibly proud of the Milton Keynes Sing Space choir and feel so lucky to sing and work with such a lovely bunch of members every week. Singing has brought so much joy into my life over the years, and has got me through some tough times. I see it as my mission to allow others to find that same joy.
Everyone is welcome in our choir from pro singers to complete beginners. The Sing Space arrangements are fabulous, with soaring harmonies and plenty of solo opportunities.
Current members have told me that choir makes Monday the best day of the week, and I love Mondays too, thanks to seeing their wonderful faces and hearing their voices. I hope to sing with you soon!
Ts & Cs:
There are no refunds, but bookings can be transferred to another person.
Under 18s must be booked with an accompanying adult.
If alcohol is offered, proof of ID may be asked for.
Any Government mandated lockdown or restriction of any kind may warrant us to move to online sessions. No refund will be given as sessions will still happen via live streaming.
I look forward to it every week and it’s 2 hours of my week that’s scheduled just for me; it’s been a huge boost for my mental health.
I’d forgotten how much joy singing brings me and you’ve managed to bring together such a wonderful bunch of people for this choir, I feel grateful that I get to spend a portion of my week with you all.
