Hello! I’m Kelly, and I’m so excited to introduce my Exeter Musical Theatre Choir to you!
I’m a professional vocalist, performer & singing teacher with an incredibly diverse background. I love to create a safe, friendly and fun environment in which singers can thrive. I truly believe that singing is for everyone, and I know the joy and health benefits that singing brings.
In addition to my performing, I’m a busy singing teacher. I am Associate Lecture (Voice) Mountview Exeter on the Cert HE course, and was previously Associate Lecture (Voice) at Oxford Brookes University. I also worked for the NHS for two years in forensic mental health as a specialist music instructor. I have additional experience working with young people in challenging settings. I have been teaching singing since 2014.
I’ve sung with Gareth Malone on his 2022, 2023 and 2024 UK tour, including as a soloist on his West End show at The Cambridge Theatre and conducting my own arrangements.
I was also in the UK Tour of 'Get It On' and I currently perform my own cabarets and gigs across various venues in the UK.
I'm also an orchestra vocalist and undertake international concerts.

Ts & Cs:
If attendee joins the choir full term, the Drop in Fees will be deducted from the Full term fee. However, the cooling off period is reflective from your drop in session date.
There are no refunds, but bookings can be transferred to another person.
Under 18s must be booked with an accompanying adult.
If alcohol is offered, proof of ID may be asked for.
Any Government mandated lockdown or restriction of any kind may warrant us to move to online sessions. No refund will be given as sessions will still happen via live streaming.
In cases where your Choir Leader may be ill - our priority is always to still have the session go ahead and your Choir Leader will provide cover for this session. If they are unable to find suitable cover for the session, time will be given to make up for the session missed.
Monies paid are collected by Arts Collective Ltd acting as agent for Sing Space Choir South and Kelly Young. VAT Included where applicable.
