CHOIR LEADERS:
LUKE JONES & EMILY GANT

Hi everyone, I’m Luke, and I’m honoured to be working with the Canterbury Musical Theatre Choir to share my passion for singing, music and theatre with you all! Originally from Wales, I moved to London at the age of 18 to study singing at London’s ICMP before working as a professional singer across Europe. I have been blessed since to perform in a range of contexts, from musical theatre to session singing in recording studios. As a teacher with QTS, I enjoy working with musicians and singers of all ability levels, and love helping others improve their vocal technique and learn how to unlock the wonderful range of sounds humans can produce with their voices. There are few greater joys than singing, so no matter you’re experience or ability level, I’d love to welcome you to our wonderful Canterbury Choir!

Hello! I’m Emily. Musical Theatre was my first love; I first performed professionally age 9 and haven’t stopped since! I was fortunate to win a DaDa scholarship to train at Mountview and have worked with some amazing talents on stage and screen.  As a vocal coach with a professional performing career spanning 20 years, I am passionate about supporting singers of all ages and abilities. Whether you are a seasoned pro or a regular at car-eoke, we’d love you to join Sam and I in the Canterbury Choir and make some glorious noise!
