Interested in joining the Sing Space Musical Theatre choir?
With spaces very limited, you can join us January for a term of show tunes, technique and harmonies with like-minded people The Sing Space choir welcomes all levels.
We have toured with Gareth Malone, were asked to support Kerry Ellis on her album tour and headlined Cadogan Hall in London this summer at SingFest with Leading West End lady, Cassidy Janson, for the charity A Choir With No Name.
We will be rehearsing Tuesday evenings at The Main Hall, Canterbury College from 7:30 -9:00pm and our summer term runs from 22nd April - 12th July.

Welcome! Firstly, I would like to say how excited I am to be joining this fabulous Canterbury Choir. I have been a vocal coach for the last five years and have been fortunate enough to teach at some of London's top training institutions including Urdang Academy, D & B Academy, London Studio Centre and I currently coach at the Miskin Theatre in Dartford.
As a performer, I have been in shows such as Lovestuck (Original Cast), Sweeney Todd, Hairspray & American Idiot. I have also performed across the globe including America, Cyprus & Crete and continue to perform as a gigging artist as well as musical directing numerous Musical Theatre cabaret nights and concerts. In 2021, I established Sabell Casting, a background agency specializing in film and TV, working on films such as the recent hit film, Barbie! We have just opened our new exclusive talent agency Sabell Books.
I am very excited to start contributing towards this fantastic choir & work on the original arrangements prepared for next term. We are going to have a blast!

Hello! I’m Emily and I am thrilled to be part of the Sing Space team and share my passion for all things Musical Theatre with our Canterbury choir.
Musical Theatre was my first love; I first performed professionally age 9 and haven’t stopped singing, dancing or acting since! I was fortunate to win a DaDa scholarship to train at Mountview and have worked with some amazing talents on stage and screen in the West End and beyond.
As a vocal coach with QTS and with a professional performing career spanning 20 years, I have been fortunate enough to work on projects in the West End and beyond with household names including Ruthie Henshall, Ramin Karimloo, Tom Fletcher, Rhydian Roberts, Courtney Pine and Max Stafford-Clark. I am passionate about supporting singers of all ages and abilities to understand their unique instrument and unlock the best of their performance potential.
It is an absolute joy to nurture the talent and confidence of others. Whether you are a seasoned pro or a regular at car-eoke, we’d love you to join Sam and I in the Canterbury Choir and make some glorious noise!

1. Drop in sessions are non refundable but your space can be transferred to another person. If you have any concerns about your attendance, please contact your choir leader/s.
2. If your choir leader needs to cancel the session, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.
