FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

The joy of the event brings a national opportunity to sing with others in the community, and so allocation will be based on voice parts.

If you require a carer or someone with you for accessibility needs we can of course accommodate this - please email enquiries@thesingspace.com or fill out the form in your confirmation email.

If there are no performance tickets available for either date you can purchase an audience seat which allows you to join in the singalong from the auditorium.

Please email the office on enquiries@thesingspace.com and we will discuss options, we have a plan B if these tickets sell out but we will need to consider all wheelchair users and their needs in order to make this possible. There are limited auditorium spaces and accessible dressing room space, and we need to ensure safety for everyone and the limit is currently provisional.

Cadogan's policy is that only those who are 18 and over can perform on stage. We need to follow their policies for the purposes of insurance and health and safety. Cadogan have the right to ask for proof of age and refuse entry and so purchasing and not adhering to this advise is at your own risk. No refund will be provided if you are refused entry.

Each ticket is sold at £29.50 - this is your auditorium ticket to watch the show in its entirety and sing along. If you have purchased a vocal part ticket this also allocates you to sing on stage for three songs minimum. You will receive your allocation ahead of time so you have time to practice.

Sing Space choir leaders will be sharing the role of conducting on stage you will have a chance to practise in your tech/dress rehearsal.

Yes! Once the band have had an opportunity to rehearse you be be called for a tech/dress run, it is likely you will be there for the day and called from 12pm, we will allocate one hour for each group to rehearse. We are aiming for the tech and dress run to be finish by 4pm, subject to a full rehearsal being completed.

We are planning to run an online rehearsal before the show. These dates are yet to be confirmed.

Choir leaders may run songs during sessions but as everyone is not guaranteed to perform this will only be if it suits the term planning of the choir at the choir leaders' discretion

Dressing rooms will be allocated on the basis of storage for your belongings whilst you are rehearsing and performing, there is simply not enough room for everyone to be allocated dressing rooms to use as a chill out space. Once you have arrived and placed your belongings you will be called to the auditorium for the full rehearsal.

We will appoint a quiet space for anyone who needs to step away but we ask that you speak to a member of the team before doing so, so we can come and get you if you are required to rehearse.

You will need to bring water with you and we also recommend bring a packed lunch or snacks with you to keep you going during the rehearsal.

Travel costs will not be covered but we do recommend if you are travelling with other members of your choir that you organise this together to save on costs.

If you are travelling by public transport the nearest underground station is Sloane Square on the Circle and District Line, if you require step free access from a train station you will need to go to Victoria, its a 20 minute walk or a short bus ride to the theatre.

Yes, like any of our events carers are welcome free of charge to ensure you are supported. Please can you email enquiries@thesingspace.com after you have purchased your ticket to inform us who will be attending with you.

We ask that you wear the new performance t-shirts if you have one, or you can wear the previous logo or a plain black t-shirt. Black trousers/skirt. You can accessorise with colour including shoes.

For a full immersive experience and maximum joy we would recommend you to be off book for your onstage songs, however we are also understanding to individual needs and so for reasons of accessibility you will be allowed to have lyrics/sheet music in a black folder if you require them.

We don't want finances to be a barrier for attending, we have a limited number of subsidised seats we can offer, please contact the office enquiries@thesingspace.com to apply
